Copenhagen airports — CPH · EKCH

Copenhagen Kastrup.

Copenhagen Kastrup is Scandinavia’s principal gateway and, unusually for a hub this size, a comfortable one for private aviation: a dedicated GA entrance at the end of Terminal 2, private customs clearance, and the city centre 8 km away. It is our default door into the Nordics.

Chartering from Copenhagen

Kastrup is fully slot-coordinated: every movement, business aviation included, needs a slot from Airport Coordination Denmark, which runs a dedicated self-coordination process for GA operators. The airport has also run full A-CDM since 2016, so departure sequencing is disciplined; late boarding can cost a departure slot, which is why we hold agreed show times here more firmly than at most fields. Three runways, the longest at 3,600 m, mean no practical type limit: ultra-long-range jets up to BBJ size are routine, and capacity resilience is good.

Our published lane prices the mission: London–Copenhagen from €13,000, 1h40.

Nights, noise and parking

There is no curfew and the airport works around the clock, but noisier types face a 23:00–06:00 restriction and night use of one runway is limited over residential areas, so we check the aircraft’s noise category before planning a late arrival. Business jets normally park on stands near the GA facility, with Apron West used for longer stays; when a trip is pure positioning, operators often use Roskilde, 35 km southwest, as the uncoordinated reliever.

Into the city

Eight kilometres, 13–15 minutes by metro or taxi. Passengers arrive curbside at the GA entrance, clear privately, and never see the main terminal. Denmark is Schengen; non-Schengen clearance is arranged by the handler.

Questions.

How much is a private jet from London to Copenhagen?

From €13,000 all-in, flight time around 1h40, an indicative from-price on our block-hour model.

Do private jets need a slot at Copenhagen?

Yes. Kastrup is fully coordinated and every movement needs one. With normal notice they are rarely a problem; we arrange them with the handling.

Can you land at Copenhagen at night?

Yes, there is no curfew. Noise restrictions apply to some aircraft types between 23:00 and 06:00, so the answer depends on the aircraft; we confirm it at quoting.
