Notes
Customs and immigration on site 24h inside the General Aviation Terminal — non-Schengen arrivals clear around the clock.
Málaga is the charter gateway to the Costa del Sol for a simple reason: Marbella has no jet airport of its own, and AGP does everything at any hour — 24-hour operations, 24-hour customs, and a 3,200-metre runway that accepts every cabin class we arrange.
Chartering to Málaga
An airport slot is required before the flight plan is even filed — routine paperwork that we and the handler absorb, though summer weekends reward early booking as Marbella season fills the ramp. Beyond that the airport is refreshingly unconstrained: no curfew, night arrivals from London or the Gulf handled as standard, and a dedicated General Aviation Terminal with its own passport control keeping the experience separate from one of Spain’s busiest holiday airports. Our London to Málaga lane runs from €18,500 all-in on a super light jet, about two and a half hours of block time.
The transfer is the honest caveat: Marbella and Puerto Banús sit 40 to 50 minutes down the AP-7. We time evening arrivals with that drive in mind, and arrange the car planeside so the only queue involved is the motorway’s.
Facilities
Two authorised FBOs share the GA terminal with lounges, crew support and around-the-clock fuel. Late-night operations carry the usual noise etiquette — idle-only reverse thrust — but no restriction a charter passenger would ever notice.
