At a glance
Munich to Nice by private jet takes about an hour and a quarter — one hour thirteen minutes of block time for the 340-nautical-mile leg — from around €8,300 one-way for the whole aircraft. A light jet is right-sized for this distance: most often an Embraer Phenom 300 or 300E, a Cessna Citation CJ3+, or a Pilatus PC-24. Departures use Munich's general aviation terminal on the west apron, well away from the passenger terminals, so arrival-to-wheels-up is measured in minutes. Nice is slot-coordinated in summer, and we secure the arrival slot before we confirm your departure time — a detail that matters more on this route than on most others we arrange.

The route
About this route
Munich to Nice in 1h 13m.
The route runs on two seasons. From late spring the traffic is southbound — Munich families and owners heading to the Riviera for the summer, often with the return left open. In late September the flow reverses: Oktoberfest and Munich’s autumn business calendar pull traffic north, and we frequently pair an inbound Nice–Munich leg with a repositioning flight to keep pricing sharp.
We arrange the flight through Munich’s general aviation terminal on the west apron, with private screening and direct apron access. Block time is one hour and thirteen minutes; with taxi at both ends, plan on about an hour and a half from door of aircraft to door of car. Handling, fuel, slots and catering are coordinated by us as part of the charter.
For four to six passengers the light-jet class is the economic sweet spot. The Phenom 300E and Citation CJ3+ carry a weekend’s luggage comfortably; the PC-24’s flat floor and large cargo door suit skis, golf bags or a pram. Stepping down to a very light jet saves perhaps a thousand euros but gives up baggage space that Riviera trips usually need. Stepping up to a midsize adds several thousand and buys little on a leg this short.
The operational variable is Nice itself. Côte d’Azur is slot-coordinated through the summer season, and Saturday arrivals around midday are the tightest. We request slots as soon as the itinerary firms up and hold Cannes-Mandelieu as an alternate for smaller aircraft when Nice is saturated.
For most of the year 48 hours’ notice is comfortable. For July and August weekends, and for the Monaco Grand Prix in late May, a week or more protects both the slot and the price.

Frequently asked
From around €8,300 one-way for the whole aircraft in the light-jet class. The figure moves with aircraft positioning, summer slot pressure at Nice and how far ahead you book; a well-timed repositioning pairing can bring it below that.
Block time is one hour and thirteen minutes for the 340-nautical-mile leg. Allow around an hour and a half from boarding at Munich's general aviation terminal to stepping into your car in Nice.
A light jet — the Embraer Phenom 300/300E, Cessna Citation CJ3+ or Pilatus PC-24 — carries four to six passengers with holiday luggage. The PC-24 is the pick if you travel with bulky items such as skis or golf bags.
In summer, yes — Nice Côte d'Azur is slot-coordinated during the season. We secure the arrival slot before confirming your departure time; the process is handled entirely by us.
48 hours is usually enough outside peak periods. For July and August weekends, or Grand Prix week in late May, book a week or more ahead to protect slots and pricing.
