St Tropez has an airport at La Mole and most private arrivals do not use it. The runway is short and the aircraft that fit are smaller than the groups usually are.
La Mole, honestly
Aeroport du Golfe de Saint-Tropez at La Mole sits inland from the bay and takes smaller aircraft only. When the group and the baggage fit, it is the shortest door-to-door on this coast.
When they do not fit, it is not an option at any price, and no broker can make it one. We would rather say so early.
The Nice route
Nice takes every aircraft and sits about twenty minutes away by helicopter. That leg is the practical answer for most groups, and it is the same jet-to-helicopter coordination we run for Monaco arrivals.
Driving is possible and takes roughly ninety minutes without traffic. In August there is traffic.
Which aircraft.
La Mole takes light aircraft and turboprops, and the runway rules the decision. For anything larger we fly into Nice and continue by helicopter, which takes about twenty minutes over the coast. We quote the whole thing as one itinerary rather than handing you a jet and leaving the last leg to you.

Light aircraft and turboprops can use La Mole. The runway is short and rules out midsize jets and larger, so most groups land at Nice and continue by helicopter.
How do you get from Nice to St Tropez?
By helicopter in about twenty minutes, or by car in roughly ninety without traffic. We arrange the helicopter as part of the same itinerary so the timings match the jet.
How long is the flight from London to St Tropez by private jet?
About one hour forty to La Mole if the aircraft fits it, and much the same to Nice. The difference is the ground time afterwards.
When is La Mole worth using?
When the group is small, the baggage is modest, and the aircraft suits the runway. Under those conditions it is the fastest arrival on the coast.
How early should we book for August?
Two weeks or more. Coast-wide parking is the constraint in high summer rather than aircraft supply.
