At a glance

London to St Tropez by private jet is one hour forty-three minutes of block time, Farnborough to La Mole, over 567 nautical miles. Prices start from around €13,000 one way for the whole aircraft. The aircraft list is shorter here than on the other Riviera lanes and that is the point: La Mole has a 1,180 m runway and an ACN limit under 21, so we quote a Pilatus PC-24, an Embraer Phenom 300 or 300E, or a Cessna Citation CJ3+. There is no runway lighting, so the field is daylight only and the arrival time is part of the plan rather than an afterthought.

About this route

London to St Tropez in 1h 43m.

La Mole sits 15 km southwest of Saint-Tropez, about 25 minutes by road outside the season. That makes it the shortest door-to-door arrival on this coast when the aircraft fits, and no help at all when it does not. The runway rules out midsize jets and everything above them, and no amount of budget changes that.

When the group is too large, the answer is Nice and a helicopter across, roughly twenty minutes over the water. We quote that as one itinerary with the helicopter held against the jet’s actual arrival, because the common failure on this coast is a jet and a rotor booked separately.

August is the month to plan properly. The peninsula has one usable road approach and the 25-minute transfer stops meaning anything, which is when several of our clients switch to the Nice-and-helicopter version even though they could have used La Mole. Sky Valet handles the field, summer hours 08:00 to 19:00 and winter 09:00 to 17:00, and an upstream delay that would cost twenty minutes elsewhere diverts you to Nice once the light has gone.
